208 Days Ahead
This Week in The Autonomy Economy presented by Koop Insurance, Waymo shared details on its Toyota partnership, Tesla expanded its Houston Robotaxi service area by 229 square miles, and autonomy politics are heating up in London.
While Waymo shared details about its Toyota partnership with the market this week, AUTNMY AI’s OMEGA uncovered the signals of what was coming 208 days before the official press announcement.
Last week it was 110 days, when OMEGA uncovered a corporate filing in Spain signaling that a new market could be coming online. OMEGA’s track record of being ahead of the market keeps on growing.
Right now, somewhere, a company is making a move in plain sight. Most will not notice for months. We already have. If you are interested in learning more about OMEGA or becoming a subscriber, please send a note to alpha[at]autnmy.ai.

Off-road autonomy took a major leap with Bedrock Robotics securing $600 million in Series C funding at a $4.1 billion valuation to retrofit construction excavators, while long-haul trucking progressed as DTL Transport signed a binding commitment to deploy 75 Kodiak-powered autonomous semis under a Driver-as-a-Service model.
Political pushback is mounting on municipal balance sheets and street access, with London Mayor Sadiq Khan lobbying the UK government to place a hard cap on robotaxi fleet sizes, while a Philadelphia City Council member proposed a dedicated tax on autonomous vehicles and robotics operating within city limits.
