Deere’s Autonomous Tractors Help Drive Forecast of $8 Billion in Free Cash Flow

This Week In The Road to Autonomy Index — For the week of June 11, 2023, The Road to Autonomy Index returned 4.33%, while the S&P 500 returned 2.58%. The top performing stocks in The Road to Autonomy Index this week were Toyota, NVIDIA and Deere.

On this episode, Grayson Brulte discusses the autonomy economy and scaling of autonomous vehicles in San Francisco. Deere, which is helping to usher in the autonomy economy is actively integrating autonomy into their business with the introduction of autonomous tractors.

The strategy is working as Bloomberg Intelligence is forecasting that Deere, a The Road to Autonomy Index component could exceed $8 billion in free-cash flow by the end of the year. This forecast is partly driven by Deere’s technologically advanced machines as they are key long-term tailwinds for Deere.

It’s not just farming where autonomy will have a meaningful impact, it’s the global economy. In the future the advancements in autonomy will help to usher in the autonomy economy. This is why companies like around the world like GM are investing billions of dollars in autonomy.

The Index is a rules-based equity benchmark index that is calculated by Standard and Poor’s Dow Jones Indices.
